As a Product Strategist at Modulr you will be the key mover in the creation and promotion of new, innovative products and brands that customers develop genuine bonds with.

You have a deep knowledge of market conditions and a firm belief in developing great strategies to promote human-centered, highly usable branded products. If you're unafraid of taking the lead and being a driving force in building a Design Company from the ground up, then we can't wait to hear from you.

What You’ll be Doing

  • Accompanying and guiding product development from the beginning through to execution
  • Research & analysis concerning markets, their opportunities and challenges in order to drive the product experience strategy
  • Strategic planning and creating long-term plans for innovative, digital product experiences
  • Competitor analysis with a focus on identifying competitive advantages
  • Positioning businesses and its products in order to succeed on the market, while determining strategic targets for a company and their respective projections
  • Creating value in products in order for them to succeed
  • Identifying product differentiators
  • Designing and leading stakeholder interviews and workshops
  • Collaboration with designers in order to develop great strategies and product design

Your Profile

  • You have 5+ years experience in strategy or service design at an agency or in consulting
  • You have good knowledge of research strategies, product experience strategy, business and preferably user experience methodologies
  • A thinker with a hands-on mentality with a love for bringing the human back into user centered product development
  • An innovative & entrepreneurial spirit
  • You have Ambition for setting standards in a young Design Studio
  • You are data-, tech- and digitally savvy
  • You excel at understanding markets, their current trends, opportunities and challenges
  • You understand user personas, their stories and customer journeys and are able to map these out
  • Experience with and knowledge of strategic tasks, analysis, research, ideation, experience design
  • You have very good communication skills, written and oral, as well as presentation skills
  • You enjoy working independently.
  • You have great analytical problem-solving abilities
  • You are willing to learn constantly, curious, creative and expressive
  • You are a team-player and have cross departmental communication and project management skills
  • You are confident using industry-standard tools

It would be a bonus if you had

  • A relevant Degree in business, marketing, analytics, engineering or related quantitative discipline
  • You are fluent in German and English
